Entry Country License and Marketing/IP Fee

We disclose how the fees for a QET country license are determined: with one uniform formula, based on public data and traceable for every single country.

Entry country license

one-time, per country

€3,000 + €32,000 × index

Example: index 0.5 gives €19,000

The €3,000 base covers the minimum legal and onboarding costs that arise in every country. The variable part reflects the country’s economic attractiveness.

Marketing/IP fee

ongoing, per year Guide value, adjustable

€300 + €3,200 × index

Example: index 0.5 gives €1,900 per year

For marketing and the use of the brand and intellectual property (IP). There is no fixed requirement for this fee; the values are a proposal by QET and can be adjusted.

In addition, as described in the talking points, there is a 30% share of annual revenue.

How we calculate the country index

The entry country license reflects a country’s economic attractiveness relative to a fixed reference country. The reference country has an index of 1.0.

Index (country) = GDP ratio0.40 × purchasing power ratio0.35 × employer ratio0.25

The index is capped at 4.0.

GDP ratio Weight 40%
Nominal gross domestic product of the country divided by that of the reference country. Represents market size.1
Purchasing power ratio Weight 35%
Gross national income per capita, adjusted for purchasing power, relative to the reference country. Represents real ability to pay.2
Employer ratio Weight 25%
Number of employers with employees (labour force × share of “employers”) relative to the reference country. Represents the addressable B2B customer base.3,4

For countries without their own employer rate, we conservatively used the median of all countries (2.88%). Amounts are rounded.

Guide values for all countries

Fees per country according to the formula described above, sorted by entry country license (descending). The status shows whether a country is available, reserved or already taken.

Important notice

All amounts are guide values based on the method described. Only the amounts recorded in the license agreement are binding.
