Which services are included in the free version and which in the paid version?
The basic features for you as an individual are free: all test types, your personal result with history, actions, the business report based on your own result, the QET Assistant and the Masterclass preview lessons. You can also pass on the open survey link with its QR code (company accounts) in the free plan to invite others to take part.
Everything beyond that is paid – that is, interaction between several people and administration at team and company level: additional participant seats, team result and dashboard link, results by department, reminders, CSV export and SAP integration. A paid plan also unlocks the full Masterclass video course for everyone in your company.

What technical or ERP requirements do I need to work with the QET Software?
The QET Software is a pure web application. All you need is an up-to-date browser and an internet connection – no installation and no ERP system. On desktop and smartphone you can also install it like an app. Participants answer via their personal invitation link or the open survey link, without an account of their own.
An optional SAP connection has been prepared: employee import from SAP SuccessFactors or SAP S/4HANA, export of results to a target address you define, and sign-in via SAP (SAP Identity Authentication Service). The QET team sets this up per company; before it is used it has to be aligned and tested together with your SAP team. The SAP integration is included in the paid plan. Other ERP systems are currently not connected.
How many participants are included in the free plan, and what do additional seats cost?
The free plan includes 1 participant seat – that is you as the account owner. To invite more people, upgrade your plan (“Upgrade plan”). The price starts at €49 net per participant per month and the price per seat goes down the more participants you book; you can book monthly or yearly. From 1000 participants we prepare an individual Enterprise offer.
In which languages is the QET Software available?
The interface and the survey are available in 40 languages; switch the language at the top of any page. The Masterclass videos are also available in 40 languages. Some new texts may temporarily appear in English in some languages.
Which test types are there?
- QETcheck: 9 randomly selected criteria – the selection is drawn once when the test starts and stays the same for that test.
- QETscan: 21 fixed criteria, 7 per pillar.
- QETaudit: all 67 criteria.
- Pillar test: only Quality, only Ethics or only Transparency.
- Management field test: one of the 7 management fields, e.g. leadership or finance.
All test types are included in the free plan.
How is the QET Index calculated?
Each criterion is rated through 3 statements on a scale from 0 to 100; the criterion score is their average. A pillar score is the average of its criteria, and the QET Index is the average of the three pillars Quality, Ethics and Transparency. For a partial test the result shows the average of the criteria actually asked. If your company has set a criteria weighting, important criteria count more and unimportant ones less in these averages (see next question). From a QET Index of 70 you receive a certificate.
How does criteria weighting work?
As the account owner you decide under “Weighting” for each of the 67 criteria whether it is Important, Neutral or Unimportant for your company. Important counts double (×2), Neutral normally (×1), Unimportant half (×0.5). Without a setting every criterion is neutral – scores are then calculated exactly as without weighting.
Weighting affects pillar, management field and overall scores, not the score of a single criterion. Team results are calculated with the current weighting right away; completed individual tests keep the value that applied when they were submitted. Weighting is included in the free plan.
How do the open survey link and the QR code work?
Company accounts find an open survey link with a QR code to download or print under “Team”. Anyone who opens the link takes part without an account and without a personal invitation, choosing language, role and test type. The open survey link is also included in the free plan – you can pass it on freely. Everyone who takes part sees their own result; the anonymised team result from all responses is available with a paid plan.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You cancel via “Manage subscription”. When the subscription ends, your account automatically switches to the free plan (1 participant seat, Masterclass preview lessons; team result, dashboard link, departments, reminders, CSV export and SAP integration are then no longer available) and you receive a confirmation by email. This automatic switch applies to subscriptions taken out via subscription management.
How do I reach support?
“Help and contact” in the user menu at the top right takes you to the QET contact page. For offers from 1000 participants, use the Enterprise request form.
Can I use the QET Software in any country?
The QET Software can be used online in 40 languages. Personal sales, service in the local language and approved auditors are available in countries with an active QET licence partner. More countries are added with every new partner contract.
For companies with more than 100 users, QET begins providing the technical resources once the invoice amount has been received. Provision takes place within 4 to 6 weeks of the contract being concluded, provided the invoice amount has been received by then.
In countries without an active QET licence partner, you use the QET Software in its current version. There, QET gives no guarantee that content, translations and processes meet the legal, linguistic and formal requirements of the country concerned or that the software can be used there without technical restrictions. Checking local requirements is the customer's responsibility.
As of October 2026. All information is taken from the QET Software itself.
